Adding music
Glassdisc plays unprotected audio files you own on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18 or later, and on Mac with macOS 15 or later.
Choose your Music folder, select the albums you want, and open an album to choose specific discs if needed. Return to the main folder view and choose Add albums once. Glassdisc makes offline copies and leaves your originals untouched. Connecting or browsing a folder does not add music.
If a file is unavailable, check that it opens in Files or Finder, then return to Glassdisc and retry. Leave Glassdisc running while adding music. You can continue unfinished additions later; Keep screen awake is optional on iPhone and iPad.
Listening and mixtapes
Play album follows the whole album in order. For a multi-disc album, Play disc plays just that section. The album and each section remember their own place. Seeking, skipping, shuffle, and repeat are unavailable; restarting a finished album requires a confirmed reset.
Build one mixtape draft and choose Burn disc to save its fixed order in Glassdisc. This does not write a physical CD. Music, progress, and drafts do not sync between devices.
Removing music
Removing an album can leave its managed recordings in storage. Disconnecting a folder leaves added albums available. Deleting the iPhone or iPad app removes its local library and copies; offloading keeps its data. Removing Glassdisc from Applications on Mac may leave local data. Your originals and backups stay separate.
Getting help
Include the Glassdisc version, device or Mac model and operating-system version, the action you tried, any error text, and whether the files are local, in iCloud, or with another file provider. Share only music or screenshots you have permission to share, and omit private information you do not want included in the request.
Read the Glassdisc privacy policy or the small tech website privacy notice.
